This week has been spring (hence the no-time to blog since the sun is shining and I am outside). This morning Honey and I met in Geneva for the Plainpalais market (every Wed and Sat). This is a huge flea market on the outskirts of the old city proper- where the sick and dead were brought to keep disease from spreading within the city- yum. It's been since this fall since I've gotten to the market, much more enjoyable on a warm sunny day than in the winter rain. We arrived at the market fairly early (about 10) and only made it about halfway around before I had to leave to catch the tram back to CERN for French leçons. The market is crowded with treasures, boxes of old records, watch parts, instruments, furniture, doll heads, books, jewelry, kitchen goods, kitsch and etc. Endless items to gawk at and desire.
Browsing some glass wares and a hairy hoofed stool.
Yes please. I'd love to get one of these crank record players...maybe some day.
My find of the day: Christian Dior lunettes de soleil vintage! So bring on the sunshine.
*Tired feet today. Bike ride to CERN, bus, tram, walk. Walk, tram, bus. Walk (I made a trip to Meyrin after class to pick up a giant chocolate bunny). Walk. Bike ride home. = 16 km on bike + 15 km walk. A lovely day :)

It WAS a lovely day! Now we need some more sun so you can wear those lunettes de soleil and I can get me some espresso silver spoons in a fun box!!!
